From Can Falet, at l’Estartit, we established as our goal to modernize the Portal de Mar Restaurant, which was is already traditional for us in the ancient Winery at l’Estartit, always keeping the family spirit, experience ad acquired taste.
That is why we transferred to this new bet all our experience and the efforts that had characterized us in Can Falet for more than 50 years, with a young and dynamic team.
The intention of the kitchen at Portal del Mar is very clear: working with the exceptional products in the area, mainly fish and seafood, avoiding complications that may hide their characteristics, with short cooking times and ripe, and adding a touch of creativity to the dishes that require it.
The chef Joan Charles Sanchez, together with his kitchen team, introduces us to quality cooking, with an impeccable technique and unbeatable presentation.
